TERMS OF SERVICE…

1. WHO WE ARE! We are covenant-keeping believers who follow Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ). We are committed to obedience to His word as recorded in Scripture (the Bible) to the very best of our ability. We also would like to share the good healing work that Yeshua has done in our live to help others to overcome the adversity they have endured in their own lives.

2. MISSION!  To provide a space for those who have suffered, to walk forward in the light of truth. The “Conversations” forum and Members Area are tools to provide foundational Biblical Truths as a catalyst to disciple and encourage those walking out of their personal darkness or who are supporting someone who is. We offer tools that we have found to be helpful and that are not in contradiction to the truths found in the Bible.

3. LEADERSHIP! This forum is governed by administrators and moderators who function in a leadership capacity. If you see a post that violates these guidelines you may discreetly report it to us by clicking the “exclamation point” symbol located at the bottom right of any post.

4. NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT! We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religious affiliation, disability, age, or sex.
   .
5. NO POLITICS! This is not the place for imposing political ideologies on others. A cursory comment to clarify an issue is fine, but diatribes are not allowed.
   .
6. PROFILE & SAFETY! To protect your anonymity you may use a pseudonym instead of your real name. DO NOT add information to your profile that you do not want anyone else to access! Remember, although we work to keep this forum chaos-free and safe, anyone may request membership.

7. AGE! You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this forum.
   .
8. PRIVACY!  “Conversations” is a private forum for registered members at The Way Out of Darkness. It is NOT a public forum.  Any personal information SHARED HERE – STAYS HERE.
   .
9. RESPECT! Please communicate at all times in a respectful manner. Do NOT “uncover”/”expose”/”shame” others publicly. Posts that are defamatory, offensive, or mean-spirited are in opposition to the “Conversations” Forum Guidelines and may be flagged or removed. The member will be warned or banned at leadership’s discretion.

10. NO CUSSIN’! Save it for somewhere else. We just don’t wanna hear it. …and it can get you banned.

11. RELATIONSHIPS! To foster good relationships, please allow others their journeys. While it is okay to disagree, remember that unity is the goal, not conformity. It is possible to be “right” with a wrong heart, attitude, or behavior. Remember… a humble heart always wins. “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. ~ Matthew 5:5

12. MEN & WOMEN! Men are not allowed in “Women Only” forum groups and Member Area activities. Likewise, Women are not allowed in “Men Only” forum groups and Members Area activities. This restriction does not apply to all other spaces. This rule also applies to forum Moderators. The exception are Admins as they are responsible to monitor the entire forum. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please reach out to an Admin.

13. NO SOLICITING, NO SELF-PROMOTION, NO SPAMMING! Requests for financial or material assistance are not permitted. Using this forum to solicit business leads from other members is strictly prohibited.

14. NO sharing OFFENSIVE or INAPPROPRIATE material and NO sharing materials that BELONG to SOMEONE ELSE unless you have their permission.

15. OCCULTISM! The display of occultic symbolism, rituals, prayers, garments, jewelry, amulets, discussions, websites, promotions, etc., are PROHIBITED in the “Conversations” Forum, in profiles (or other) photos, group activities, etc. The possible exception will be for teaching purposes at the Admins discretion. Violators will be banned without further discussion. If you have a question regarding what is acceptable, you must ask prior to posting.

16. TRIGGER WARNINGS! If you believe the content you are sharing may be triggering to another individual, out of consideration, please begin your topic with the words: TRIGGER or TRIGGER WARNING.
    
    If you find yourself repeatedly being triggered in certain areas of the forum, you may have a better experience if you limit your participation to the following areas: Meet & Greet, The Lounge, Words of Encouragement & Healing, and the Tool Kit. Unfortunately, there are some who are extremely sensitive to triggers. If this is you, for your own well-being you may need to consider whether the decision to join a forum such as this is in your best interest. Also, you may have better success connecting in other activities in the members area, such as the Bible Reads, etc.

We are simply people, helping people who strive to provide accurate Biblical and educational information that we have found beneficial.
